Warranty

Every Lumen frame is covered by a two-year manufacturing warranty. Beyond that, we service hinges, screws, and nose pads for free, for the life of the frame.

What's covered

<li>· Hinge failure (broken pin, snapped barrel)</li><li>· Acetate cracks unrelated to impact</li><li>· Lens delamination on Carl Zeiss lenses</li><li>· Nose-pad arm fatigue</li><li>· Coating wear inside one year</li><li>· Screw thread stripping</li>

Not covered

What's outside it

<li>· Impact damage (drops, sat-on)</li><li>· Salt-water and pool exposure</li><li>· Heat-warping (left in a dashboard, on a windowsill)</li><li>· Lens scratches from cleaning with a tissue</li><li>· Modifications by another optician</li><li>· Loss</li>

How to claim

<li>Email us at hello@lumenoptics.zeroshop.io with your order number, a photograph of the issue, and a sentence about what happened.</li><li>We reply within two working days with a prepaid return label and an estimate of how long the repair or replacement will take.</li><li>Post the frame back in any padded box. The case is fine if you still have it.</li><li>We assess within three days of receiving the frame. If the issue is covered, we repair or replace at no cost. If it is not, we email you a quote before doing anything.</li>

After two years

Lifetime servicing is free, forever, on every frame we have ever made — hinge tightening, screw replacement, nose-pad replacement, refitting, edge-polishing every 3–5 years. Anything else (replacement temples, replacement front section, lens re-cuts) is charged at cost.

There is no registration card to fill in. We have your order in our system; that is all we need to know it is one of ours.
